Rebecca Tsien Biography
Welcome to my site!
I graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York in 1988 with a BFA in Illustration and Design. I have always loved reading a story and trying to put just the right illustrations to it, or writing my own stories to illustrate.
When I left Parsons, computers were still a thing of curiosity. I pretty much had to go back to school again (at nights and on weekends!) to learn that new world! I discovered that I really, really love to draw on the computer. It really allows me to be playful with my art.
My husband is a musician (guitar), and my mother was a professional pianist so I've always been fascinated by musicians and love to illustrate them. In fact, when I'm not doing art, I can probably be found recording my own music (mostly acoustic ballads). You can take a listen at www.soundcloud.com/rebeccatsien.
